ONE LINE

FingerLaserX is a neon arcade shooter where your fingers are the weapon, rebuilt from scratch by the solo developer of the 2012 original.

SHORT

FingerLaserX is a neon arcade shooter for iOS and Android. Swipe at the enemy to fire, keep the base standing, and take down bosses the size of your screen. It is a ground-up rebuild of the 2012 iPhone game FingerLaser by its original solo developer. No forced ads, no stamina system, no account, and it plays offline. Out worldwide October 20, 2026.

LONG

FingerLaserX is a neon arcade shooter where your fingers are the weapon. Enemies pour in from the top of the screen. Swipe at them and a laser rips straight through; hold to charge, then swipe for a stronger one. Clear enough of them and the waves get meaner, until a boss the size of your screen rolls in. The only job is to keep the base standing.

Coins earned in battle go into upgrades and gears, and more than 40 missions unlock new lasers and gears as you level up. The launch version has three laser types (the basic laser plus Bio and Ice) and five gears: Battery, Magnifier, EMP, Time Bomb and Black Hole. Heat and Electric lasers, four more gears (E.Wall, Decoy, Tai-Ji and Ion Cannon) and new enemies will arrive in free updates after launch.

The game is a ground-up rebuild of FingerLaser, which Wei Ting Weng made alone and released on iPhone in 2012. The original and its sequel, FingerLaser II, were covered by AppBank, 4Gamer and Famitsu App in Japan and by Bahamut GNN in Taiwan. During a limited-time free promotion in October 2012, FingerLaser II reached No. 1 on the Taiwan App Store's Top Free iPhone Apps chart. Over the past five years, the same developer rewrote the game from scratch, again alone, this time for both iOS and Android.

FingerLaserX plays by the same rules as the original: no forced ads, no stamina system, no account, and no Wi-Fi needed. It is free to play with optional in-app purchases, available in ten languages, and launches worldwide on October 20, 2026. Pre-registration is open now on the App Store and Google Play.
